Navajo Nation Rug PAT
Handwoven Navajo wool rug featuring a vibrant red field with a striking optical geometric composition. The design is formed by repeating serrated zig-zag motifs that create a large open diamond shape in the center of the field. Ivory lightning-like elements radiate outward through the red ground, producing the dynamic visual effect commonly referred to as an “eye-dazzler” pattern in Navajo weaving traditions. Subtle gray wool accents appear near the ends of the composition, and the overall structure reflects the bold geometric design vocabulary associated with mid-20th-century Navajo trading-post weavings.
